    Propagation Research Associates, Inc., (PRA) is looking for an individual to join an exciting and innovative small business with opportunities for growth and career development.

    Technical Focus:
  • RF system engineering, signal processing, optimal estimation, guidance and control.
  • Job Description: PRA is a small business focused on research, design, and development of algorithms for improving performance and capabilities for RF systems. We are looking for an individual to join our team to work in algorithm development focused on applications in radar signal processing, radar system engineering, RF component design and evaluation, optimal estimation, guidance and control, and modeling and simulation. The individual should have a fundamental understanding of electromagnetic wave propagation such as radar, communications, optics, etc., signal processing, and/or state estimation and tracking for various airborne and ballistic targets. The ability to communicate the challenges and benefits of competing approaches to engineering, scientific, and technical audiences is essential in this dynamic environment, as is the ability to operate effectively as part of a small cross-functional team. The individual should have familiarity with software development in MATLAB or C++ languages. Responsibilities for this position include:
  • Develop expertise in areas of signal processing, optimal estimation, and/or RF systems engineering.
  • The following is a list of requirements:
  • Background in physics, mathematics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
  • 0-5 years relevant experience desired.
  • MS preferred, BS acceptable with additional experience.
  • MATLAB experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
